Collage

I use my

      general purpose scissors

to cut brown card into small shards.

They have

      hard-wearing carbon blades

and slice precisely

to make the bark of a elm tree.

They are

supplied in a smart PVC wallet

which I cut

to create a stream.

I tear some

     ivory tissue paper

to form cirrus clouds.

I crumple more

to add stratocumulus.

I stick this to

versatile paper that’s perfect for drawing and sketching

using

     traditional Japanese glue.

I give it to dad, who puts it in

a 120 gauge thick black sack

and tells me

to do something useful

for once.
