Wonderful Weather Collection

In this collection you can listen to poems written all about different seasons and weather. You can hear examples of the various ways that poets describe the weather.

Judith Nicholl’s uses personification to describe winter “Winter crept through the whispering wood, […] but never a word he spoke.” Valerie Bloom uses alliteration to describe the ways that autumn “burns bronze” in her poem ‘Autumn Gilt’. Andrew Fusek-Peters uses a homophone to playfully describe rain.
